Panels
can be cut to size and re-rolled the opposite way to reduce the
natural curve of the material. Our specialized cutting machine insures
clean, accurate and square cuts for materials up to 1/2" thick
and up to 192" in length. |

Cutting
and Punching
The Strip Press Feed is a custom designed machine
that replaces the entire manual process of measuring, cutting, punching,
and labeling of flexible PVC strips from 4'' to 16'' wide, from
0.040'' to .250'' thick, and lengths from 4'' to 16'. The real “breakthrough”
is a 90% reduction in processing time and an 800% increase in capacity.
Included in the machine’s design is an option that utilizes
an exclusive process that does not completely shear the PVC, leaving
a fraction of material so the individual strips stay together and
can be wound onto one continuous roll. The customer can then conveniently
tear individual pieces from each roll. This option of pre-cut and
pre-punched materials on rolls is marketed as “RIP-A-STRIP.”
TMI is the only company in the world that can provide “RIP-A-STRIP”
in full rolls.

Die
Cutting
We offer custom die cutting for applications that require special
shapes, holes, or angles for pieces up to 48'' x 60''. If you provide
a drawing for a finished die cut piece, we can design and produce
the dies to accommodate our die cutting machines. |

Extrusion
Welding
With the newly developed extrusion welding technology, we have the
ability to weld PVC panels from 0.24'' thick up to 0.50'' thick.
This process enables us to weld clear and opaque materials together.
Common applications are flexible impact doors and bi-folding doors. |

Heat
Sealing
Strips can be produced with a heat-sealed loop at the top for mounting
on bars or rods. Heat sealing can also be used to create a clear
window inside an opaque sheet. We can design and produce special
heat-sealing dies to meet your requirements.

Hot
Air Welding
This process of welding is used to attach vinyl-coated materials
to clear or opaque, flexible PVC sheets or panels. The most common
application is the attachment of velcro, used for closure on bi-folding
doors, clean room panels, sound panels, and sliding doors.

in-house with state-of-the-art equipment in our clean and modern

Normalizing
Cut-to-size
panels can be normalized to completely remove the natural curve
in the material. Normalized panels are shipped on custom made skids
and are interleaved with special normalizing paper. |

Partial
Rolls
Partial rolls can be ordered instead of full rolls when desired.
Materials are cut to the required roll length and repackaged for
shipping. |

Rewinding,
Interleaving & Electro-Static Dusting
Special put-up requirements can be met with our unwinding and rewinding
capabilities. To prevent air bubbles from compromising the quality
of the material, it is recommended that interleaf paper be used.
Interleaving is also recommended for softer, tackier films to facilitate
easier handling and processing of the material. Another option to
eliminate tackiness is dusting. Our high-tech dusting equipment
can be adjusted from super light to extra-heavy levels of dusting. |

Sewing
Our extensive sewing department can manufacture customized
products while adding quality, strength and detail. Choose from
a variety of materials (thickness and color); add Velcro or Zippers
to meet your customer’s requirements. Products that can be
customized include Equipment and Rack Covers, Caser Display Curtains
and Coolkeeper Oven Curtains. Call with your specific requirements. |

Sheeting
Master rolls and slit rolls can be sheeted to exact specifications.
Tissue interleaving is commonly used to prevent sheets from sticking
together. Sheets are available in sizes up to 54'' x 72''. Larger
size sheets require special tolerances. |

Slitting
Capabilities include materials in thicknesses from 4 mil up to 80
mil. Master rolls up to 73'' wide can be slit as small as 2'' wide.
We can also slit more than just PVC. If you have a special material

if we can help. Tissue interleaving and custom put-ups can also
be done to meet your requirements. |
